Manual Process: Manual diagnostics process of the system through display codes, blinking codes…
Fault code reading: Allows to read the ECU failure memory by providing the user information about the fault codes detected in it. This function allows the user to carry out the clearance of the fault code memory; logically if the fault code is active, it will be detected again by the ECU and it will be displayed in the following fault code reading.
Measure Values: It displays on the screen the values of the different sensors connected to the ECU. It depends on each system.
Components Actuation: They are the direct tests that can be done with the system components. For example, actuate an ABS modulator, activate the suspension solenoid valves in order to raise or low the vehicle chassis... They are active diagnostics which, for example, enable tests for engines to calibrate their state, like the cylinder balance, cylinders cut-out or compression, depending on each system.
ECU Data: These are the technical data of the ECU, serial number, software version, manufacturer's reference, etc. It depends on each system.
Parameters: Some ECU can operate with different configurations. With this option you can copy configurations and parameters to the control unit, so control units can be programmed in its first installation. For certain systems even the modification of some parameters not affecting the vehicles security is allowed.
Calibration: Some systems ask to calibrate some components for its correct operation. The best examples are the electronic suspensions, for which the reference values must be stored so the ECU can perform the function correctly.
Reset: This point refers to the reset of the control unit maintenance counters. If the maintenance operations are completed but the maintenance alarm is not canceled, the warning message referring to maintenance will keep on. It has nothing to do with the clearing of the fault codes from the memory, which is part of diagnostics.
Real-time data monitoring: Technical information of the system indicating the checking values, descriptions, graphics, charts…
Wiring diagram: Detailed diagram of the system containing added information on configuration, components, locations and notes which make the diagnostics tasks easier.
Vehicle Technical Data: Technical information of vehicles including all the engine technical data, tightening torques, capacities, graphics and other checking values…
Vehicle maintenance: Section in which the maintenance intervals are displayed, indicating the operations to be performed on the vehicle, and through which the reports that make the customers management easier for the repair shop can be obtained.
SMART Guides: Jaltest offers the key to increase efficiency in repair processes. The SMART guides take the user directly to the correct step, according to the vehicle conditions, fault codes and registered parameters. Say good-bye to unnecessary actions!
Model wiring diagrams: Wiring diagrams by model show the relation between all the electrical components of a vehicle. They complement the technical information of the wiring diagrams included in the license and provide detailed specifications about the interconnection of electrical elements, connections to other control units and intermediate connectors.
