Cojali participates in ANCES Open Innovation 2025 with its technological challenge of Artificial Intelligence applied to vehicle diagnostics

Feb 10, 2025

Cojali participates in the 8th edition of Ances Open Innovation (AOI), the open innovation program promoted by the National Association of Spanish Business Innovation Centres (ANCES). As one of the nine driving companies behind this initiative, Cojali launches its own technological challenge with the aim of attracting innovative solutions from startups and young companies.

Ances Open Innovation is a unique opportunity to foster collaboration between established companies and entrepreneurs with disruptive ideas. So far, the program has received more than 600 proposals, from which 79 winning solutions have emerged, demonstrating its ability to generate synergies and growth opportunities in the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Cojali’s challenge: innovation in the interpretation of technical images

The challenge posed by Cojali consists of the development of a solution based on Artificial Intelligence with the aim of transforming the visual management of parts and components in Jaltest Diagnostics, the leading solution in multi-brand diagnostics and repair for commercial vehicles at a global level.

The challenge is to develop a solution capable of processing the extensive catalogue of Jaltest Diagnostics technical images, standardising and optimising them to offer a clearer, more coherent and accessible representation. In this way, technicians will be able to interpret the information more quickly and efficiently, speeding up diagnostics and repair processes.

With this initiative, Cojali reaffirms its commitment to innovation and continuous improvement in independent workshops, promoting tools that facilitate the work of mechanics professionals in more than 135 countries where Jaltest Diagnostics is present.

Driving companies in Ances Open Innovation 2025

In addition to Cojali, other leading companies in their sectors are participating in this edition of Ances Open Innovation by launching their own technological challenges. These include COVAP, Denso Ten, Orenes Group, Iberdrola, Macrosad Corporate, MAPFRE, Meisa and Mundiplan, each one of them with specific challenges aimed at boosting innovation in their respective fields.

A commitment to innovation

Cojali sees innovation as a driver of transformation and growth. Its participation in Ances Open Innovation allows it not only to foster emerging talent, but also to explore new solutions that contribute to the technological development of their industry. The company encourages all startups with innovative ideas to join the challenge and submit their solutions before 7 March via the official Ances Open Innovation website.
